About

Hi, I'm Hannah!

Thanks for visiting my blog! It's my personal documentary on becoming an architect.

I'd like to think that I've always been interested in architecture. I've been drawing houses ever since I could hold a crayon! My grandfather taught me how to draw using perspective, my dad taught me how to draw floorplans on the computer, and the rest is history!

In 2010, I started this blog to document my growing stack of architectural drawings. I named it "If Walls Could Dream" because every wall I draw gets me closer to my dream of being an architect. I find inspiration all around me, from going on local home tours, to researching classic architects, to traveling. I love to think about how architecture influences lifestyle and I truly believe that architecture has the power to change the world.

In high school, I attended a summer architecture program at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and it showed me that studying architecture in college was the right path for me. I spent the past year studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Now, I'm working on my thesis project.

Thanks so much for visiting, feel free to let me know if you have any questions about architecture, Cal Poly, or studying abroad!
